Lol, I didn't get the a sucessful build first time. Sucks, but expected.
I wanted to ask other Anons about their build environment.
First, I got cert errors. I fixed this by changing my sysdate back to current time. I'm using the
> win2003_prepatched_v6b.zipfound in the
> https://rentry.co/build-win2k3build doc over the Win2K3/NT directory. Does this mean changing sysdate to Aug 01, 2003 is not required for extraction from the cabinet files?
Second, what are the specs of your build environment? I don't have any spare systems, so I'm doing this on VMware (no Hyper-V, vanilla VMX workstation).
My build environment is as follows
> 4 core Intel i7-6700> Win7 Ultimate x86 SP1> 4GB RAM> 40GB SCSI diskI got shit ton of errors, and I'm guessing it's the specs. Considering this is x86, I'm not sure if out of memory is the issue. But considering my guest's C drive is filled, I'm guessin more than 40GB. I suggest adding this to the build doc as it wasn't stated.
Third, I got this error called
> ntvdm.exe has stopped workingSome cursory implies some kind of some kind of 16-bit legacy support? Not sure, but it halts my build process.
